2016 has been a year of growth: physically (kids) and career (adults). The big news comes from:
Jen: After four years at Geocaching, Jen just got promoted to VP. She loves her job and her co-workers. And, remember, every time you find a geocache Jen makes a dollar. Okay, that’s not true, but download the app anyway.
Jake: Jake continues to be News Director at KIRO 7 and enjoyed captaining the boat to Canada a couple of times this year. He got a kegerator for his birthday and is darn happy.
Willow: She’s halfway through 2nd grade. It’s been a Harry Potter year. While finishing the books, we went to Harry Potter world with Bibi (Grandma) Mary Jo. The spells must have worked because Willow got better at soccer, got taller, became an excellent reader, mostly learned to swim, and began telling actual (funny) jokes. Ask her about the bear that went into the bar…
Bo: He’s 1.5 years old, speaks five languages and is doing trigonometry. Okay, not really. But, he is sliding down the stars, running for every open gate, abusing the ice maker, prank calling with abandon when he can get hold of our phones, and saying a handful of words. His favorites are “Gabby” and “go” (an invitation for you to chase him) and “Willow!” (always screamed).
Gabby: Our 4 year old Golden Retriever patiently endures Bo pulling her every appendage in exchange for a steady stream of table scraps. Her favorite pastime these days is taking Bo (clutching her leash and sprawled on his belly) out on walks.
